Made for the Resource Management Jam hosted by the Portland Indie Game Squad!

The theme: Wait that's a resource?!

Really threw me through a loop, and continues to this day but here's what I got.

Imagined a desert environment there are two factions:

Guild of Alchemist:  Through the power of Alchemy, the Guild has brought a industrial flavor of living in the harsh desert world.  Potions, Materials, power sources,  any of the Guild affiliated merchants, vendors, and snake oil sales folk will have something for you.  However, the cost comes at the prohibition of all other forms of magic, lest you take a chance on turning into a demon, and shunned from society.

Desert Nomads:  The antithesis of the Guild, the nomads of the desert live off the land utilizing magic borrowed from the very sand they travel upon.  With the proper container, resources, and ritual seemingly common desert sand can be used to create a magic shell of sand around the user. The sand shell a tradition known to all nomads, a vital means of protection when wandering alone, and a weapon to fight off  anything in pursuit.
