Charting the Next Course!


It's been a few days since the showcase stream,  and I thought I'd post a devlog of my plans for Leviathan's Fall, and the whole Sailors & Sorcerers setting as whole.

For those not in  immersed into the Portland Indie Game Squad ecosystem, there is a series of three long form game jams called Summer Slow Jams!  This years batch have the technical themes: Character Creator, Stealth, and Boss Battle.  Even back when these were announced , people pointed out that one could make long form game with it!  While I'm not planning to make everything into one game, I'm planning something long form!

Instead of it being one game, I'm going to make this a collection of 3 short, connected games!
Reluctant Tides, Leviathan's Fall, and (I don't have a title for the last one yet).

Each one of these is going to have a jam or "Super Scuffed Edition" to start, with the intention of polishing them all up and having a release as collection of 3 games!

  My plan for Leviathan's Fall is as follows:
 Add: 2 more stealth sectoins, 1 (or 2) new shapeshifting forms, music. 
Polish: EVERYTHING ELSE!

When will this all be finished? Not any time soon! 

This is starting off a solo project, and ambitious one at that.  Creation takes effort, gamedev infinitely more.

Now to set sail once again, and I'll have an update or two!
